Exams and Assessment Office

Final examinations are administered by the Exams and Assessment Office.

During Week 6 of the trimester, the Exams and Assessment Office will release a draft timetable for the assessment period to the Transnational Partner and the Unit Coordinator for comments. The Unit Coordinator will need to review the unit details, including the date of examination, duration of the examination, and confirm any materials to be supplied by the University.

The Transnational Partner and the Unit Coordinator should provide feedback within three days of receiving the draft examination timetable. After reviewing comments from the Transnational Partner and the Unit Coordinator, the Exams and Assessment Office will make any necessary amendments and publish the final timetable online at Examinations Timetable.

The Transnational Partners will be advised via email that the final timetable is available online at the above-mentioned webpage. The Exams and Assessment Office will publish the final examination timetable around week 7/8 of the trimester.

The Unit Coordinator sets the examination paper and must submit it to the Exams and Assessment Office Wednesday, week 9 of the trimester.

The Exams and Assessment Office will ensure that the Transnational Partner has access to all examination materials no less than three days prior to the commencement of the examination period. The Exams and Assessment Office will need to arrange the printing of examination papers to accommodate the number of students sitting each examination, and send (via courier) all examination papers and materials to be supplied by Murdoch University to the Transnational Partner.
