The School of Agricultural Sciences is committed to creating a positive impact on society through community engagement.

Promoting sustainability

We partner with communities and stakeholders both locally and globally to address complex issues in agriculture and animal health. Our approach emphasises collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to sustainability, as we work to promote social, economic, and environmental well-being.

By engaging with communities, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the world and inspire the next generation of leaders in agriculture.

Our partnerships

We are leading providers of research that is led from the ground up by partnerships with agricultural industry stakeholders and communities. This means that our research programs are relevant, innovative and make meaningful differences to complex challenges in modern agriculture and animal health worldwide.

Our courses are informed by our partnerships with industry and communities. This means that our Agricultural Science graduates are well prepared to launch into rewarding careers in a range of industries and professions worldwide.

We welcome community and stakeholder at our Open Day, information evenings and community events throughout the year. The Murdoch University Outreach Team offer engagement activities providing high school students opportunity to tour our facilities and take part in activities that give some insight to our courses.
