1. Take a tour
What you'll find at our libraries
24 hour access
Did you know you can access the Geoffrey Bolton Library 24 hours a day? Use your Murdoch ID card to swipe in via the Level 2 entrance near the ECL courtyard. After hours access to the Veterinary Library is available to current Veterinary Science students and staff only.
If you don’t have your own computer, you can use one of ours! We've got more than 200 computers available at the Geoffrey Bolton Library. Also make sure you join our Wi-Fi network by logging in with your Murdoch username and password. Easy as!
2. Find resources for your assignments
The Library offers an extensive collection of online and print resources for study and research.
Library Search is an easy-to-use research tool that gives you access to journal articles, books, ebooks and other online resources. Use Library Search as your preferred tool for peer-reviewed academic literature.
My Unit Readings & High Demand collection
My Unit Readings is where you’ll find essential and recommended readings set by your unit coordinators. The High Demand collection holds important print books and recommended readings identified by your unit coordinators.
3. Borrowing from the Library
As an undergraduate student, you can borrow 30 items for 12 weeks. High Demand items can only be borrowed for 2 hours during the day. You can use the self-check machines or visit the Library Help Desk to borrow print items from our collection. Ensure you return due or recalled items on time to avoid fines or replacement charges.
