We encourage visitors from other universities and members of the community to take advantage of our world class print collections, facilities and study spaces. Murdoch alumni are invited to continue their association with the university by joining the Library.
Everyone is invited to use our study and research spaces at any of our locations. We also have a wide variety of quiet and group study areas across four floors at the Geoffrey Bolton Library.
Access to WiFi, High Demand items, BONUS+, ArticleReach and Document Delivery services are available to Murdoch students and staff only.

Register online or visit the Library to join. Choose your membership from the options below.
As a member of the Murdoch Alumni Association and a graduate with a Murdoch degree you can join the Library for free.
Your membership is valid for 12 months. Contact us to renew your membership.
Due to licensing restrictions, the Library is unable to provide access to most online resources from off-campus to Alumni members. You can search these databases from off campus for personal research or educational use only:

Visitors from other universities and institutions are encouraged to join the Library. Membership is free.

MIT students You automatically become a member of the Library when you enrol at MIT. MIT staff Complete the Request for Murdoch Username and Password form. Advise IT Services you require library access. Visitors from theological institutions
Perth College of Divinity and Joint Faculty of Theology Students (including Wollaston Theological College), Perth Bible College and Vose Seminary.

Students from WA high schools & other institutions
Free Library membership is available to:
- Students in Years 11 and 12 and teachers from all WA high schools
- International students in their final year at Canning College, Cambridge International College, Kingston International College, Phoenix Academy, Perth International College of English (PICE) and Tuart College.

Bring your current student ID and proof of enrolment. If you are under 18 years of age, you will need a parent/guardian signature.
We welcome all community members to join the Library. Community membership has an annual fee of $99. Concessional rates are available.

We welcome organisations and businesses including commercial tenants of Murdoch University to join the Library. Corporate membership has an annual fee of $250.
To join, bring current corporate and photo ID to the Information Desk at the Geoffrey Bolton Library. Three membership cards will be issued to nominated members.

You can renew items and manage your requests online using My Library. Login with your user ID:

To set up your PIN, go to My Library, enter your user ID under ‘All other Library members’. Leaving the PIN field blank, click ‘Submit’ and follow the prompts.
