Michael Durey Collection of History Microforms
The Michael Durey Collection of History Microforms was donated to the Geoffrey Bolton Library by Professor Michael Durey. It was originally acquired to support research funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC).
The collection consists of history research microforms, chiefly microfilms, of United States, English and Irish newspapers, and theses.

Rottnest Island Oral History ProjectThe Rottnest Island Oral History Project contains oral histories about Rottnest Island recorded during December 1987 and January 1988 by the Murdoch University History Club.

The Rare Books Collection is comprised of scarce and irreplaceable titles gathered together over the years through gift, purchase, and from our own collection.
The collection holds significant materials collected based on the following criteria:
- An edition of less than 500 copies.
- Australian imprint Pre-1900.
- Non-Australian imprint pre-1850.
- Signed by the author and are of literary value.
- Of noteworthy provenance.
- Deemed to be vulnerable.
- Subject to legal restrictions on access.
The collections consist of over 4,500 items.
