About our Collections

The University Library is home to an extensive collection of books and ebooks, journals and ejournals, streaming media, dissertations, theses, past exam papers, conference proceedings, government publications and more.

The Library collection has been developed since the foundation of Murdoch University in 1974. The primary purpose of the collection is to support and enhance the scholarly activities of students and staff at the University.

We are also proud to house our Special Collections which include thousands of culturally significant, unique and hard-to-find items.
