Access full-text articles in one click with LibKey Nomad

If you’re repeatedly signing in or seeing “Purchase PDF” buttons when searching for full text articles, then LibKey Nomad is here to help. LibKey Nomad is a free browser extension that helps streamline access to full text journal articles available through Murdoch University Library’s subscriptions.

Why use LibKey Nomad?

  • Identifies available full text
It automatically detects Murdoch Library’s access to articles on publisher websites and platforms such as Google Scholar and PubMed.
  • Provides direct links to PDFs
If full text is available, LibKey Nomad provides a Download PDF button, meaning less clicks and sign-ins.
  • Integrates with commonly used research tools
The extension works across a wide range of scholarly platforms, including Google Scholar, PubMed, Wikipedia, and many publisher sites.
  • Uses existing authentication
Access is provided via Murdoch University’s Single Sign On, so no additional logins or accounts are required.

How to Get Started:

  1. Visit Libkeynomad.com.
  2. Select your preferred browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave, or Vivaldi) and install the extension.
  3. Select Murdoch University Library as your organisation.
