We’re excited to bring you collection points for hard-to-recycle items at the Geoffrey Bolton Library, Veterinary Library and Mandurah Campus Library. Join us in making a difference!

Geoffrey Bolton Library & Vet Library

You will find Terracycle boxes located near the 24/7 entrance on Level 2, North Wing, of Geoffrey Bolton Library, as well as in the Vet Library.

Accepted items at these collection points are:

• Hair product aerosols
• Snack wrappers
• Pens, pencils and markers
• Batteries (AAA, AA, D, 9v, ‘button’, laptop and toothbrush)
• Cling wrap.

Please ensure that all items are empty and free of any liquid or food residues.

Note: The Vet Library Terracycle bins are managed by the Murdoch Guild's Climate Action Special Interest Group (CASIG). This dedicated group of veterinary students is making a significant impact, inspiring both staff and fellow students to take meaningful steps toward waste reduction.

Mandurah Campus Library

Located in the Mandurah Library foyer, you'll find Zero Waste boxes for collecting:

• Candy & snack wrappers 
• Laminated paper packaging 
• Empty medicine blister packs

These boxes were organised in collaboration with the Sustainability office.

Start collecting these items at home or in your office, and take the lead in promoting sustainability by reducing waste sent to landfill!
