The retirement of the Adobe Digital Editions app is changing how users download eBooks from EBSCO and ProQuest.

EBSCO eBooks

Instead of Adobe Digital Editions, EBSCO eBooks will switch to using Thorium Reader for downloaded eBooks.  

• We have installed Thorium Reader on all public access PCs at Murdoch University. 
• Staff can download Thorium Reader onto MU computers through the Company Portal.

ProQuest Ebook Central

Instead of Adobe Digital Editions, ProQuest Ebook Central will switch to using their Ebook Central Reader App for downloaded eBooks.  

You will be prompted to download Ebook Central Reader if and when required by ProQuest..
