Get started with searching - Mandurah

This workshop will cover foundational search strategy skills to help you find scholarly books, journal articles, and other resources. 

You will learn

  • Library Search 

  • identifying the words to use when searching for articles on your assignment topic 

  • joining search words together for a search 

  • filtering the search results for peer reviewed articles within a given date range. 

Who should attend

Anyone needing to develop foundational search strategy skills, including but not limited to 

  • First-year undergraduate students 

  • New to Murdoch students of any level
