TAHMU and the community

The Animal Hospital at Murdoch University is the proud supporter of several organisations, charities and initiatives within the Western Australian community.

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHC creates, finds and supports programs that directly impact the health and wellbeing of children and their families. RMHC is there for families when they need it most: right in their own communities. The Animal Hospital is proud to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities, providing the necessary care for their Director of Hugs and Pats, Gus!

  • Guide Dogs WA. Guide Dogs WA is the only Western Australian based provider of Guide Dog training services in the community. Guide Dogs WA provides life changing Guide Dogs and Autism Assistance Dogs. We are proud to collaborate with Guide Dogs WA on their breeding program, ensuring all dogs are fit and healthy to enter the program or training.

  • Racing WA. Racing WA has partnered with The Animal Hospital to develop the Equine Advanced Imaging Suite, which includes a standing MRI and standing CT - the only ones of their kind in Western Australia.

  • WA Veterinary Equine Dental (WAVED). WAVED provide routine and advanced dental health services to the equine community throughout Western Australia, as well as consulting at The Animal Hospital.

  • Canine Section WA Police. The Canine Section of the WA Police Force has been an integral part of their services to the community since 1993. The Animal Hospital is proud to support the Canine Section of the WA Police Force to ensure their canine team members are in optimal health to perform their official duties.
