Designed with students at its heart and featuring Australian first tech-enabled learning (TEL) desks, Boola Katitjin allows students the opportunity to collaborate and share their work from anywhere in the world. With large flat-floor format teaching and learning spaces, technology-rich labs, immersive industry collaboration facilities and extensive areas for informal ‘peer to peer’ learning, discover your next favourite study space, project rooms to do group assignments and spaces hang with friends. 

Student Central

Student Central (formerly, the Student Centre) is now located on Level 3, near the Northern Plaza. The open-plan area is fitted with self-service computers. You can also meet with a student advisor, which you can easily book ahead of your visit.

Access and equity

Boola Katitjin has been designed to accommodate diverse accessibility and mobility needs.

The doors to learning spaces in Boola Katitjin are 1.4 metres wide. Inside every learning space is an electronic height-adjustable desk, suitable for lowered seating, or for standing. In the large tiered learning spaces on Level 4, the room has a gentle slope downwards to the front allowing for access to the tiered tables.

Accessible bathrooms are available on every floor, on Level 1 inside the Welcome Space, and on Levels 2, 3 and 4 at both north and south amenities block. Level 2 also features a Changing Places bathroom for people with high needs.
