Boola Katitijin – lots of learning

Named by Dr Richard Walley OAM and endorsed by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Group, Boola Katitijin translates to ‘lots of learning’.

This Connection to Country was key in the design and implementation of the building. From the yarning circles in the welcome area, to the artwork that focuses on the heritage of the land, Boola Katitjin is meant to reflect the significance of the land on which it stands which has been a place of learning for tens of thousands of years.
