Art Curator bestowed the Vice Chancellor's Excellence Award

Staff members from across Murdoch University were recognised for their outstanding contributions, achievements, and service at the annual Staff Awards Ceremony on 16 November.

This year’s awards were presented in the categories of Excellence in Learning and Teaching; Living our Guiding Principles and Values; Leadership; Professional Staff; and Research and Innovation.

Art Collection Curator Mark Stewart was bestowed the Vice Chancellor's Excellence Award for Professional Staff. This award recognises and celebrates the outstanding contribution of an individual who champions the strategic objectives of the University and demonstrates commitment to service, excellence and engagement.

The selection committee noted how impressed they were with Mark’s nomination, which highlighted a commitment to collaboration, innovation and service excellence. Acknowledgements and sincere thanks to Art Collection Board member and Senator, Julie Whitlock, for submitting this nomination with testimonials contributed Art Collection Board Chair, Brandon Munro, Board member Matthew Young and University staff member Celia Cornwell.
