DVM 5 Conference Day Celebrates Final Year Veterinary Students’ Achievements
Showcasing research, skills, and inspiration at the School of Veterinary Medicine
The DVM 5 Conference Day is always a highlight on the calendar for our final year veterinary students, and this year’s event was no exception. Marking the culmination of two years’ hard work, the conference offered students the chance to present their research and demonstrate the skills they’ve developed to their peers and the School of Veterinary Medicine faculty.
The day opened with an uplifting keynote address from Dr Nahiid Stevens, a proud Murdoch Veterinary alumnus. Dr Stevens shared her passion for research and reflected on how it has shaped her career, inspiring the next generation of veterinary professionals.
Following the keynote, it was over to the students, who took the reins for the remainder of the day. They chaired sessions, delivered engaging abstract presentations, and discussed their projects during the poster session, impressing attendees with their dedication and professionalism.
Congratulations to the class of 2025 on your outstanding research achievements. The future of veterinary medicine is in excellent hands.
