The School of Medical, Molecular and Forensic Sciences (MMFS) is excited to announce a suite of integrated accelerated Bachelor–Master programs designed to help high‑achieving students fast‑track their careers in science. These streamlined pathways allow students to graduate with both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in just four years, giving them a competitive edge in rapidly evolving scientific fields.

The new integrated programs are available in 2027 in Biomedical Science, Forensic Science, and Food Science and Nutrition, and reflect MMFS’s strong focus on combining academic excellence with practical, career‑ready training.

Biomedical Science and Infectious Disease Surveillance
Ready to fast‑track a career in biomedical innovation and global health? The integrated Bachelor of Biomedical Science / Master of Infectious Disease Surveillance and Control offers an accelerated four‑year pathway for top ATAR graduates. Students gain practical skills in world‑class research centres, learn from leading experts in infection, immunity and biotechnology, and work on real‑world infectious disease challenges. The program allows students to tailor their studies across areas such as biomedicine, genetics and personalised medicine, preparing graduates for careers in medical laboratories, research, biotechnology, government and public health.

Food Science and Nutrition
Murdoch University’s integrated Bachelor of Food Science and Nutrition / Master of Food Science allows students to combine specialist training, hands‑on research and cutting‑edge technology in one streamlined program. Students explore food chemistry, nutrition, engineering and product development while gaining real‑world experience at Murdoch’s state‑of‑the‑art Food Centre. Graduates are well prepared for careers across food production, safety and quality assurance, nutrition policy, product innovation and research, with skills highly valued by industry and government.

Forensic Science
High‑achieving students interested in forensic careers can complete combined Bachelor and Master of Forensic Science degrees in just four years.
