Practical Legal Training is an essential step to being admitted by the Legal Practice Board of WA as a practising lawyer. Our partnerships with the Leo Cussen Centre for Law and The College of Law allow you to complete your PLT online or from our Perth campus.
Practical Legal Training (PLT) is designed to help you develop the practical, day-to-day skills you will need as a lawyer. Completion of a PLT program is the second essential step to being admitted by the Legal Practice Board of WA as a practising lawyer - the first being your law degree.
After completing your PLT, you will be awarded a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (GDLP), allowing you to apply for admission as a legal practitioner in your state or territory.
Murdoch Law School has partnered with the Leo Cussen Centre for Law and The College of Law to allow you the convenience to complete your PLT online or from our Perth campus, with access to facilities and resources you are familiar with.
