Join us under the stars for a special screening of THE GIANTS: The extraordinary story of Bob Brown and the forests (M) – Wednesday, 1 April 2026

Connect with staff, students and fellow alumni at this complimentary event at Telethon Community Cinemas, Murdoch University.

Presented by the School of Environmental and Conservation Sciences and the Sustainability and International Aid discipline, the evening brings together Murdoch’s environmental community to reflect, connect and be inspired by this landmark documentary.

Bring a blanket and picnic, or pre-order dinner, chairs and bean bags through the booking link. Please note that costs apply for additional items. The venue is licensed and BYO alcohol is not permitted.

Doors open at 6:00pm and the film will commence at 7:15pm. Join us before the film to mingle and hear news from Murdoch’s Environmental Science, Conservation and Sustainability community.

A few helpful notes..

Seating: Bring your own picnic rug or low chair, or pre-order a bean bag / chair before the screening.

Food: You are welcome to bring a picnic (BYO alcohol is not permitted), or pre-order pizzas before the screening. The Candy Bar will be open throughout the evening for drinks and snacks. To pre-order food or a bean bag / chair, please click here.

Tickets: No need to print your ticket. Please have your ticket ready on your phone for scanning on arrival, or we can check you in manually if needed.
