The Kaadaninny Advisory Board provides cultural governance and strategic advice to Ngangk Yira Institute for Change researchers, projects and proposals.
The Advisory Board comprises scientific members, cultural members and senior leaders from key organisations in sectors related to the work of Ngangk Yira. Some members represent an organisation whilst others are members by virtue of their skills and expertise.

Josie is the Aboriginal Health Strategy Director for the South Metropolitan Health Service and is a passionate advocate for improving health outcomes for the Aboriginal community.
In her role, she provides cultural oversight and advice on all Aboriginal health-related matters across the health service.

Mary Corina Martin OAM is a Mulgyin Jaru/Kitja and Gooniyandi woman born and raised in Broome, Western Australia. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Marketing and Media and Bachelor of Law.
Corina was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia as a barrister and solicitor in 2006. She was the Principal Legal Officer of the Aboriginal Family Legal Service before becoming the Chief Executive Officer.
In 2022 Corina was awarded the Indigenous Lawyer of the Year Award at the Women in Law Awards, and in 2023 she was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the Law

Wendy belongs to the Karajarri and Yawuru people from the West Kimberley region. As the Director of Aboriginal Health Policy Directorate, Department of Health, Wendy has led the development of several key strategic policy initiatives for the Department including the WA Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Framework 2015-2030 and more recently the Closing the Gap agenda for the WA Health system.

She is involved on several research projects focused on improving Aboriginal mental health and social and emotional wellbeing outcomes in maternal health and early childhood development and supporting resilience and wellbeing in young people. She has extensive experience in qualitative, community based participatory action and mixed methods research approaches with a focus decolonising and empowering Indigenous research methods and methodologies

For 30 years Tracy Reibel has conducted translational research which contributes to health systems reform. An expert qualitative researcher she has highly developed skills in research design, mixed methods, systematic and critical reviews, evaluation. and works at the nexus of quantitative analysis and qualitative interrogation. This approach is underpinned by strong relationships with colleagues and decision makers in the academic, health and social services sectors.
