Group fitness classes and timetable
Our fitness classes offer variety and convenience with times to fit your lifestyle.
Members of the Murdoch Active Gym have complimentary access to group fitness classes.
Non-members are welcome to join in at a charge of $7 for a 30 minute class and $14 for a 60 minute class. Multi-session passes can also be used for classes.
RPM™RPM™ is the indoor cycling routine workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. ![]() | W.O.R.C Murdoch MovesWalk or run on campus. Be guided by our instructor on a mapped out 5km track, or double it to achieve 10km. Choose to walk, run, or both, whilst enjoying fresh air, the beautiful scenery outdoors on campus, and the chance to build on your cardio/stamina. Times can be logged and kept on record. Boxing CircuitThe Boxing Circuit combines basic boxing fundamentals with Interval Training to boost your heart rate and burn hundreds of calories. This is an all over cardio and strength training workout and is a great FULL-Body workout with boxing, strength conditioning, and core exercises all tied into one! YogaYoga is a holistic style of exercise that uses asanas (poses), breathing and meditation techniques to maximise wellbeing. Yoga is the Sanskrit word for union and focuses on mind/body awareness. We offer two styles of yoga, both are geared to all levels or practitioners. Slow Flow focuses on technique development and helps develop strength and precision in each pose. The faster paced Power Flow helps to build more heat in the body, by moving through a sequence of asanas that are fun and challenging to all. Both flows provide many health benefits to all. Boot CampBoot camp workouts can vary but generally include a fairly intense mix of strength training and aerobic elements.

Originally developed for self-defence, Tai Chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that's now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements and is known to improve mood, balance and agility.
