We offer pre-approved Murdoch University corporate templates and logos designed to help you maintain brand consistency across all your communications.

Canva

Canva is an easy-to-use graphic design platform. Murdoch University has a user subscription, which allows you to create Murdoch-branded visual content, including social media graphics, posters, flyers and more using Murdoch branded templates.

Unfortunately, the limited free user accounts have all been allocated. Please check with your College Business Managers, College Operations Team, or line managers as to who may have access in your area.

Alternatively, you can purchase a Murdoch User Account. For a 12-month subscription it will cost you $178, which will give you full access to the Murdoch templates. Contact Adam White (Production Lead) for further information on how to get started.

Photography

Webdam is our digital platform that powers our image asset library, which helps us quickly distribute approved images while maintaining asset management compliance. You'll find photographic assets covering all our Study areas, locations, buildings and images of staff and students.

For access to Webdam, please submit a request: Access to Murdoch Image Library.

Consent is essential, when taking photos or footage of Murdoch University students or staff, to ensure transparency and legal protection. If any talent featured in your photos or videos, you will need them to sign a Talent Release Form. It is your responsibility to ensure you keep a record of the talent release for the duration of the use of the photograph.

For more information, contact our Legal team (Murdoch staff only).

Photography FAQs

You should only use images and logos that the University has explicit permission to use, or that are clearly in the public domain (e.g., stock photos with the appropriate license). Remember, copyright applies to both the image itself and potentially the people depicted in it. If the owner, photographer or a subject in an image requests its removal, promptly comply with their request.

If you cannot find the image you need on Webdam, you can request a list of our preferred photographers, or take your own images referring to the photography guidance in the Brand Style Guide
