We offer a diverse range of courses with flexible options – from undergraduate to postgraduate, full-time to part-time or on or off campus.

Our research

Murdoch has been awarded a five-star rating for research, innovation and learning, with a focus on multidisciplinary translational research.

We are committed to fostering excellence and supporting the development of future nursing professionals. Our Bachelor of Nursing degree provides an evidence-based learning environment that empowers students to develop the skills, knowledge, and attributes to become Strengths-Based Registered Nurses, who work with people and communities to positively influence health and wellbeing. Graduates of this course are eligible to apply for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

A diverse range of postgraduate courses, focusing on areas of health and workforce priority, is also available for Registered Nurses and healthcare professionals interested in advancing their careers in contemporary healthcare settings. In these courses, students will gain the advanced skills, knowledge, and attributes required to meet the demands of national and international healthcare systems.

Murdoch Nursing Student Recognised by Perth Foundation for Women

Yijing Li

Murdoch University nursing student Yijing Li has been recognised at the 100G for 100G Presentation Event for her resilience, commitment and contribution to the Mandurah community.

Congratulations to Yijing Li, a final-year Bachelor of Nursing student at Murdoch University, who was recently recognised at the 100G for 100G Presentation Event hosted by the Perth Foundation for Women. During the ceremony, Yijing was presented with a Certificate and the symbolic Zonta yellow rose by Foundation Chair Ping Teo. 

Addressing the audience at the event, Yijing spoke about her journey and transition into the Mandurah community, sharing her experiences as a nursing student and demonstrating the resilience, commitment and community spirit that underpin the nursing profession. 

The School of Nursing is proud to celebrate Yijing's achievement and thanks all those who supported her application and attended the event. We wish her every success as she completes her studies and prepares to begin her nursing career.
