Murdoch Nursing Graduate Receives the ANMAC IPE Colloquium™ Scholarship

The ANMAC IPE Colloquium™ Scholarship 2026 is a national scholarship program offered by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) to support nursing and midwifery students and graduates in attending the 2026 Interprofessional Education (IPE) Colloquium in Canberra.

The scholarship promotes interprofessional learning and collaboration by bringing together healthcare students, educators, and professionals from different disciplines to strengthen communication, teamwork, and patient-centred care. The 2026 theme focuses on empowering respectful and inclusive conversations in healthcare practice.

"Receiving the ANMAC IPE Colloquium™ Scholarship is both an honour and a significant milestone as I begin my career as a graduate nurse. Balancing my studies and transition into professional practice while raising a family as a single parent has strengthened my resilience, adaptability, and ability to advocate for others.

I am particularly looking forward to learning with and from other health professionals, deepening my understanding of collaborative, team-based care, and building my confidence in contributing to multidisciplinary patient care. I hope to apply the insights and strategies gained through this opportunity to strengthen interprofessional communication and support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care." Bree Coles.
