Professor Bev Ewens has been appointed Professor at Murdoch University, recognising her extensive contributions to nursing education, research, and academic leadership.

An experienced registered nurse with a background in critical care across the UK and Australia, Professor Ewens has held senior clinical and academic leadership roles, including Associate Head of School and Associate Dean.

Her scholarship spans critical care recovery, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing, curriculum development, leadership, and ethics, reflecting a deep commitment to community engagement, mentorship, and research excellence.
