Kat Te Arii has been selected as a finalist in the WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards (WANMEA)

Kat Te Arii has been selected as a finalist in the WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards (WANMEA) in the Education category, a fabulous and well‑deserved achievement.

This recognition highlights Kat’s exceptional contribution to decolonising curricula by imbedding Indigenous led nursing education. Kat has been instrumental in establishing a partnership with the School of Indigenous Knowledges working collaboratively to co-design a strengths based First Nations health unit.

The School congratulates Kat on being recognised among an outstanding field of educators.
