The Banksia Association was launched in late 2005, drawing together a special group of individuals who had made a lasting, positive impact on Murdoch University.
Among its respected members are Emeritus Professors, past donors, past external members of the University Senate, individuals bestowed with Honorary Degrees, distinguished alumni and many others.
Each Banksia member continues to support the University in their own way. For some, this includes contributing to fundraising activities or sharing expertise through mentoring, guest lectures or serving on an advisory committee. While others enjoy staying in touch with Murdoch University by attending the occasional function. Others simply enjoy staying in touch with Murdoch University by attending the annual events.
