How to apply to Murdoch University as an international student

Are you ready to launch you career with a Murdoch University degree? Applying to study at Murdoch is easy and only takes 5 simple steps.

Step 1: Pick your course

Murdoch has over 250 undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses available, spanning business and law, creative arts and communication, engineering, health, science, social and cultural studies, teaching, and technology.

Step 2: Check the entry requirements

Entry requirements vary by course and include things like your education qualifications, such as year 12 completion or a prior university degree, and English competency requirements.

The minimum English entry requirement to study any course at Murdoch University is an IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no band below 6.0. Please note that some courses, like nursing or veterinary science, require a higher English competency score.

Step 3: Apply

Depending on your home country, you can apply either online or through an agent.

If you're applying through an agent, you can find a list of all Murdoch's registered international agents here. If you're able to apply online, you can choose to apply directly through the Murdoch website, which will create a unique application ID login for the My Admission page. Keep your ID and password handy, as you can stop and start the application process at any time.

Step 4: Email confirmation

It's time to submit your application! Make sure you take the time to review all your information is correct. Once you've submitted, you'll receive an email to confirm your application.

Step 5: Letter of offer

If your application is successful, you'll receive a letter of offer with your enrolment details. If you're unsuccessful, we may be able to provide an alternative study option and will email you with the course alternative.
