Once you've selected your resources for your reading list, the Library can create or amend a reading list for you in MUR. You'll need to submit two forms to us - one for your textbooks and one for all other changes to your reading list.

You'll need to provide the following details about each item on your reading list:

  • Resource citation including details such as author(s), title, chapter, edition, date, ISBN, ISSN, URL, etc.
  • How you would like items organised on your list (for example, 'Week 1' or 'Topic 1')
  • Whether an item is a textbook (indicating other essential or recommended readings is optional).

Maintain your own reading lists

While the Library is happy to amend your reading lists when required, some teaching staff prefer to maintain their own lists. If you wish to maintain your own readings lists, see the My Unit Readings guide for teaching staff for more information. (Note: even if you maintain your own reading lists, you will still need to submit a list of your textbooks to us using our Unit textbook selection form).
