With so many different options for food across campus, there's something for everyone.

Choose from a range of food and drink outlets on campus to get you through long-haul study sessions, help stay alert during early morning lectures, or enjoy a tasty meal between classes.

Study snacks to keep you going

With over a thousand tasty treats available from all over the world, the on-campus IGA Xpress has everything you need from milk, bread, study snacks, pre-made lunches, ready-made meals, fresh fruit, and more. Stock up before heading home or pick something up between classes.

For something a little more filling

Sir Walter’s Restaurant
Featuring a combination of bar, casual, alfresco and formal dining, plus a private function room, Sir Walter’s Restaurant supports a wide range of events and dining options.

Sir Walter’s Restaurant is located in building 425 overlooking the Winter Garden.

The Student Hub
Centrally located on Bush Court, the Student Hub offers a range of food and drink options as well as services and spaces for Murdoch students and staff. The Student Hub is open Monday to Friday throughout semester and study breaks from early morning until 10pm. Food outlets include:

  • Courtside
  • Roll’d
  • Chatime
  • Chinese Canton
  • Pattysmiths
  • Kebab and Pizza Garden

Boola Katitjin
Our new teaching and learning building, Boola Katitjin, is designed with students at its heart. Combining the latest technologies and state-of-the-art amenities with mindful and sustainable design, Boola Katitjin provides a student experience unlike any other. 

There are two food outlets in Boola Katitjin - Sushia, located on Level 3 near Student Central and The People's Cafe located on Level 1 in the Welcome Space, plus student kitchens with sinks, microwave ovens ready to use on Level 2 and Level 3. 

Triage Café 
Located in the Mini Student Hub, this is a great place to get your morning breakfast and coffee, with a delicious selection of hot and cold food, plus confection  (think health bars, mints, cookies etc). 

Spice Express
Located in the outdoor eating area of The Ref, Spice Express is the perfect place to stop for lunch and relax. You can even order online for quick service. 

Keep caffeinated

With heaps of cafés located across campus, you’re always close to your next caffeine fix. Just don’t forget to bring your KeepCup! Not only are you helping to save the environment, you’ll also get a discount at most of the coffee shops.
