Students who have volunteered their time during their studies to either lead, recruit, captain, plan, or administrate various teams, clubs, and groups within the Murdoch University Active department are recognised as Murdoch Active Leaders. These students will have demonstrated excellence in leadership, teamwork, organisational skills and management.

Their significant contribution to student enabling programs can be evidenced on their academic transcript for future reference.

The group meets every few months. Their role is to lobby and promote the collective plans of the group to the University, sports bodies and other relevant stakeholders.

Members are student volunteers and can have this work recognised and recorded on their University Transcripts.
