Jennifer Arnold Memorial Research Award

Friends and relatives of Dr Jennifer Mary Arnold have donated funds to provide a scholarship to undertake an honours or postgraduate coursework research project at Murdoch University or University of Western Australia. The research must encourage and assist an eligible high achieving student to gain a better understanding of the natural environment and its value.

​To apply for this scholarship you must:​

  • demonstrate an independent commitment to biological or environmentally related concerns
  • be enrolled, or eligible to enrol:
    • full time, unless the selection body is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances which preclude full-time enrolment
    • in an honours or master’s by coursework and dissertation degree offered in the School of Veterinary and Life Sciences
    • ​in the research development and/or research project unit for the applicable course.

    • the hypothesis
    • background
    • aims and objectives
    • significance and outcomes
  • your curriculum vitae
  • a short statement (maximum 300 words) addressing the eligibility criteria
  • a copy of your academic record to date.

Payment Method

The scholarship is provided as an operating allowance accessed by the recipient as reimbursement of expenses associated with their research, including but not limited to travel and conference attendance.
