During orientation, or “O week” at Murdoch, you will have the chance to meet other local and international students through seminars, excursions, BBQ lunches, dinner and many other activities.
Our international orientation program is designed to help you meet other international students, get ready for your studies and adjust to living in Perth. Please plan your journey to Perth so you can arrive in time to attend the orientation sessions.
You will learn how to:
- Find your way around campus
- Finalise your enrolment and sign up for your classes
- Sign up for a student card
- Organise public transport concession
- Register with your Overseas Student Heath Cover provider
In addition to the sessions below, International students must also attend one of the following:
- Undergraduate students must attend a discipline-based Course Advice Session
- Postgraduate (coursework) students must attend the Postgraduate Orientation
- Study Abroad and Exchange students must attend the Study Abroad and Exchange Orientation on 20 February
