Special Offer to Murdoch Alumni

A series of new short courses will be coming out in November 2021 under Murdoch University’s Academy centres of excellence and specialisation.

These Academies are a creative force for current and future generations, and enhance existing learning and development programs in a specific area for professional or personal interest.

The Digital Futures Academy

The Digital Futures Academy provides innovative and industry-led courses to train the technologists of the future through a cross-disciplinary learning platform focused on digital knowledge and skills, while offering students flexible learning options.

It offers courses to improve the ability to thrive in the digital world by enhancing digital and business knowledge and skills through industry supported, cross-disciplinary, micro-credential learning.

Following on from the successful Architecture of the Internet of Things course, which was delivered in partnership with Cisco, the Academy will be partnering with a range of industries, starting with Tableau and Atlassian, to bring you current, relevant and innovative courses based on industry demand.

Courses will be self-paced, with a total of 60 hours of training over six weeks. It is a combination of online, face to face lectures and assessment work.  The in-person sessions will be held on evenings or weekends, for a total of 12-16 hours, and will be held at the Murdoch University Perth CBD campus.

Completion of a course will grant 1.5 credit points that can be used towards a Murdoch University Business or IT postgraduate course and/or contribute towards a future Graduate Certificate.
