January - March | South Beach Sunset Markets

South Beach is once again home to the famous Sunset Markets every Saturday night this summer. Choose dinner from more than 30 amazing international food stalls, grab a drink from the beach side pop-up bar, listen to some live, local music, and sit back, relax, and enjoy the sunset. More info.

January 3-8 | ATP Cup

24 countries qualified for the inaugural ATP Cup, heading to one of three host cities — Brisbane, Perth or Sydney. Perth is proud to host some of the biggest names in tennis, including World No. 2 Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev (World No. 4) and rising superstar Fabio Fognini (World No.11).

January 5 | KFC Big Bash League

Perth Scorchers take on the Hobart Hurricanes at Optus Stadium! Tassie’s team and a tight top order is no match for the Perth Scorchers! Get behind the boys to blow away the Hurricanes! Come along to see the exciting innings break light show!

January 5 - February 2 | sunset@subi

The City of Subiaco's free sunset summer concerts are back! Hosted at the Theatre Gardens on January 5 and Market Square on January 12 and 19, the family-friendly sunset@subi concerts feature musical genres to suit all tastes.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and a mat or low chairs to enjoy the beautiful Perth evenings. If you forget to bring dinner or are looking for something sweet, you can pick up something from one of the food vans that will on-site at each concert. More info.

January 26 | Australia Day at Kings Park

Celebrate Australia Day at one of Perth's most beautiful spots - Kings Park. The traditional 21 Gun Salute will fire from the State War Memorial at noon, and the Fraser Avenue precinct offers the perfect viewing opportunity during the Australia Day Skyworks.

January 12 | The Red Hot Summer Tour 2020

Always a sell-out series, The Red Hot Summer Tour is back! ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Hunters & Collectors are reuniting to headline the 2020 tour, bringing with them special guests James Reyne, The Living End, The Angels, Baby Animals, Killing Heidi and Boom Crash Opera.

January 26 | City of Perth Australia Day Skyworks

City of Perth's annual Australia Day Skyworks event is back in 2020! Come down from 3pm to enjoy the free Lotterywest Entertainment Zone on Langley Park and the Birak Concert at the Supreme Court Gardens.

The Air Show will take to Perth skies from 3pm with the annual spectacular fireworks display at 8pm. Presented by City of Perth, Lotterywest, Mix94.5 and Channel 9. More info.
