Your guidance helps your mentee make informed choices regarding their career path, while simultaneously offering you a chance to find fulfilment through a mentor role.

The University would like to extend an invitation to all alumni to join the program. Geographical location is no obstacle as some students are seeking purely digital correspondence.

Mentoring gives you an opportunity to share insights about your company, current industry trends, areas with skill shortages, training, essential software or professional skills and the best industry associations to join. Your mentee might even teach you something too!

As current representatives in the front line of your profession, you are ideally placed to know the best ways for Murdoch undergraduates to prepare themselves for day one in the workforce.

Training and support are available for mentors and mentees to help ensure that both parties get the most out of the experience.

To be a mentor, you must have at least two years of experience in your industry and be able to commit to at least three hours of mentoring over a period of six weeks.

While our staff endeavour to make as many matches as possible, this is dependent on student demand and suitability.
