Murdoch University has achieved a QS Stars five-star rating that puts it amongst some of the leading universities in the world.
Where rankings compare universities to one another and put them in order, the QS Stars rating assesses how institutions perform across particular indicators.
Following a comprehensive evaluation, Murdoch achieved five stars in teaching, employability, research, internationalisation, innovation, and inclusiveness, and an overall rating of, not surprisingly, five stars.
“We continuously strive to deliver the best outcomes for our students through a holistic approach that encompasses all facets of the university experience,” Professor Readman said.
“Not only do our students enjoy a top-level university education, they learn from world-leading academics, have access to cutting-edge research and technology, and do it all in a supportive and welcoming environment before graduating
“They graduate a step-ahead, with employers confident that Murdoch alumni are job-ready and equipped to tackle whatever the future holds”
Pro Vice Chancellor International Kelly Smith said achieving five stars in internationalisation and inclusiveness was important recognition of the role international students play in the Murdoch community.

The QS Stars rating system provides a detailed look at an institution, assessing a range of categories that recognise distinct strengths in areas such as graduate employability, social responsibility, teaching, and more.
It also recognises that the holistic profile of each university is the best guide to help students make decisions about what is likely to suit them, and best support their learning needs and graduate aspirations.
It also recognises that not all universities – even the highest ranked institutions – suit everyone and provides a genuine guide for students to choose the university that fits them best.
