Bachelors, honours, certificate and diploma | A$120 | A$279 |
Masters | A$130 | A$295 |

Travel and parking
Make sure you leave early on the day so you arrive in plenty of time for registration.
On ceremony days, you can park without a permit from 11am in red and green parking areas in car parks 1, 2, 3 and 4, except in ticket parking areas. Although a permit is not required, all parking signs must be observed. See the parking map for details.
Aged, disabled and wheelchair access
If either you or any of your guests use a wheelchair, have a mobility issue or require special seating arrangements, advise the Graduations Office at least a week before the ceremony so suitable seating can be arranged.
Seating is available in the Tavern if you or your guests need to be seated before being admitted to the ceremony area.
What to wear
You must wear the complete Murdoch University academic regalia for the award you are receiving, or the regalia for previous awards.
Perth February ceremonies are held outdoors so it is advisable you and your guests dress according to the weather on the day.
Bush Court is a grassed area and temporary plastic flooring will be installed for the ceremony. Make sure you wear appropriate footwear as high-heeled stiletto shoes may be difficult to walk in and are likely to get caught.
Refreshments and amenities
Food can be purchased at the Student Hub before the ceremony. The Tavern will be open for drink purchases only.
Toilets are located on either side of Upper Bush Court and in the Tavern.
Postponement due to poor weather conditions
While Perth summer evenings can be pleasant, the ceremony may be postponed or relocated in the case of bad weather. If postponement is necessary, you will be advised via email and text message a minimum of three hours before the ceremony.
Under no circumstances shall the University be liable for any actual or alleged loss by a ticket holder or another arising from the cancellation or postponement of the event; this includes but is not limited to travel, accommodation and other costs, or any loss of business or earnings due to the cancellation or postponement of the graduation ceremony.

Accepting your certificate
As you reach the stage your name will be checked before it is announced. Once announced, walk across the stage to the Chancellor to receive your certificate.
Stop briefly to shake hands with the Chancellor as the ceremony photographer takes a photo of the presentation. You will then continue across the stage where an usher will direct you back to the graduand seating area.
After the ceremony
It’s time to relax and celebrate with your family and friends. Enjoy complementary light refreshments in Upper Bush Court and have your photos taken.
You will receive a celebratory glass of champagne upon presentation of your seat ticket. Guests will also need to present their ticket to receive refreshments.
To make your night run more smoothly, arrange in advance where you will meet your guests after the ceremony. Waiting at the exits can cause congestion.
Return your regalia
Hired regalia must be returned to the regalia return desk before you leave.
Photographs, DVD and framing
Photographers will be available before and after the ceremony for studio portraits. No bookings are necessary. A non-refundable service fee of A$30 is payable on the night and is additional to the cost of photos you purchase.
Approximately 10 days after the ceremony you can view and order packages combining individual and group photos from GFP Graduations. A DVD of the ceremony, certificate frames and metal reproduction plaques will also be available.
A complimentary download of your certificate presentation will be made available. Use your student ID as your voucher code. A different code will be provided if you have studio photos taken.
