Short-term study abroad

Make the most of your time off by studying one or two units overseas. Our study abroad programs are generally between two and six weeks long, and most are offered during the semester break.

Talk to your academic chair to find out if you can get credit towards your degree. Some of our programs might also cater for the MSP201 Real World Learning unit.

If you are eligible, you may be able to fund your overseas experience through a New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant or the OS-HELP loan, which will be added towards your HECS debt. You can apply directly online with our providers and you will need to check further details on their website, including the application deadlines.

Join a cultural immersion in India, become a global innovator or just study a unit or two during the semester break.

From 2021 onwards we also offer a range of virtual opportunities while travel remains restricted, which you can access from the comfort of your home. Some of these programs are fully funded for eligible students by mobility grants provided by the Australian Federal Government.

For those programs that come at a cost and are not free, we have a number of A$500 scholarships available, which will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
