Social activities

We have a range of social activities available for you to keep active at your leisure. Jump into any of our team sports or alternative social interests like medieval combat without the pressure of regular training or high stakes competition.

2023 Weekly fixtured sports

We have weekly leagues for futsal, netball, and ultimate which are played during Semester 1 and 2. Leagues start the week of March 13th for Semester 1 with dates TBA closer to Semester 2. Leagues may also be run between semesters or at other times, subject to player interest.

Games are open for staff, students and community members.

Fixtures and results will be posted each week during the season.

Fees

Fees are payable for each social sports team and are paid upfront for a whole season. Fees for 2023 Semester 1 are as follows:

• Mixed Netball – $600
• Mixed Ultimate – $280
• Futsal – $600

Starting a new team

If you would like to start a new team to join in the social sports, you can complete the registration form and submit it to Murdoch Sports.

Join a social club sport session

Drop in sports

Enrolled Murdoch University students can use Murdoch Active’s facilities for free, Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm (subject to the availability of the courts on the day).
