Boola Katitjin
Boola Katitjin provides a student experience unlike any other with numerous places for students to study, collaborate and relax – from picnic tables for group study sessions, to student kitchens for those who like to meal prep and a balcony with stunning views, there are plenty of spaces to sit down and enjoy. There are two food outlets in Boola Katitjin:
The People's Cafe Food Coffee
Located on Level 1, off Discovery Way, The People’s Café offers all things coffee, pastries, wraps and snacks. Open Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm.
Sushia Food
Located on Level 3 near Student Central, Sushia offers a selection of chicken, seafood and vegetarian options including sushi and bento boxes, tempura, hand rolls, salads, poke bowls, donburi, miso soup and more. There is even a takeaway coffee window too! Open Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.
Student Kitchens
There are student kitchens with boiling and chilled water, sinks and microwave ovens ready to use on Level 2 and Level 3.
Student Hub
Centrally located on Bush Court, the Student Hub offers a range of food and drink options as well as services and spaces for Murdoch students and staff. The Student
Hub is open Monday to Friday throughout semester and study breaks from early morning until 10pm.
Inside, the Hub offers air-conditioning, seating, charging stations and a range of dining options. The student kitchen offers a food preparation area with 12 ready-to-use microwave ovens, boiling and chilled water, wash-up sinks and food waste bins. Outside, you will find shady courtyards and balconies, including the beautiful Summer Courtyard and Winter Garden. .
Sir Walter’s Restaurant Food Coffee Alcohol
Featuring a combination of bar, casual, alfresco and formal dining, plus a private function room, Sir Walter’s Restaurant supports a wide range of events and dining options.
Sir Walter’s Restaurant is located in building 425, overlooking the Winter Garden.
Pattysmiths Food
The Pattysmiths Patty Smashers, create their own signature blend Wagyu and Angus beef patties and then sandwich them between layers of 100% fresh Aussie ingredients.
Chatime Coffee
Chatime is brewing up a storm at Murdoch University, offering milky, fruity and frozen iced tea, as well as traditional hot tea.
Courtside Food Coffee
Courtside offers delicious all-day brunch, fresh salads, hand-made sandwiches, vegan bowls and more, all made from fresh, quality ingredients.
Roll'd Food
Roll'd offers fresh and flavoursome family-style Vietnamese food, with recipes that have been passed down through generations. Roll’d is always looking to innovate and adapt, while staying true to the essence of Vietnamese food, which is always balanced, vibrant, and unbelievably flavoursome.
Chinese Canton Food
Chinese Canton is one of the largest locally established Asian food chains in Perth. With a passion for sharing cuisine and culture, Chinese Canton doesn’t stop at Chinese food, expanding their horizons to the cultures and flavours of other Asian cultures.
Kebab and Pizza Garden Food
Situated next to IGA Express, here you can enjoy a selection of freshly cooked kebabs.
For pizza lovers they have several options. Plus, with the winter months approaching, who doesn’t love a steaming bowl of pasta carbonara or gnocchi. Open Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm
IGA X-press Food Coffee
Located in the Student Hub through the Summer Courtyard, the Murdoch IGA X-press convenience store is open 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday. Providing an affordable range of groceries, fresh produce, bakery, self-serve coffee and hot-deli foods, this handy campus store will ensure you never run out of those household essentials.
Winter Garden
Located next to the Base, the Winter Garden offers scenic open-air seating. The Winter Garden also has a small amphitheatre and is perfect for barbeques and entertainment for outdoor settings, including musical acts or outdoor theatre performances.
Summer Courtyard
On the same level as the Student Hub, the Summer Courtyard provides a leafy respite outside. This courtyard has charging points, plenty of places to sit, and is more shaded than the Winter Garden, perfect for the summer months.

The Ref boasts a flavourful array of street food and drinks alongside a large, covered seating area.
Bombay Knights Food
Having provided a popular food truck service, Bombay Knights have taken up occupation in one of the sea container kitchens to offer up tasty contemporary Indian fusion cuisine.
Spice Express Food
Perfect for those who love all things spice, with a variety of options from samosas, to chicken wings, to laksa and more. Plus they have a range of hot and cold drinks. Open Tuesday to Saturday, see website for opening hours.

A hidden jewel in the ECL building, Bang Bang Specialty Coffee uses fair trade, organic coffee and offers up delectable treats and beverages for you to enjoy.
Cafe Kadjininy Food Coffee
Nestled in a corner of the library and run by the Guild, Cafe Kadjininy stocks a great range of tasty food and drinks for a quick pit stop.
The Tavern Food Alcohol
Enjoy a cold drink, grab a bite to eat, listen to music, watch sport, challenge your mates to a game of pool or chill out in our beer garden. The Murdoch Guild Tavern caters to everyone, whether you want to hang out with friends, have an afternoon sundowner or book the entire place for a private function.
Triage Coffee Coffee
Open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 4pm, located in the Mini Student Hub, the Triage Café is a Student Guild run venue that offers a great mix of coffee and both hot and cold food, including sandwiches, pre-packaged salads, sushi, muffins, toasted sandwiches and more.
Law Cafe Food Coffee
The Law Cafe is a great meeting place for students to study or just hang out. The cafe is also the headquarters for the Murdoch Student Law Society.
Bush Court Market Daze Food
Market Daze takes over Bush Court every Thursday with stalls of fantastic, local, fresh produce to take home, as well as for dining out in the open air.

Our student kitchens offer food preparation areas with sinks and food bins, as well as microwave ovens ready to use. You’ll find student kitchens located in the Student Hub, level 2 of the Geoffrey Bolton Library, and levels 2 and 3 of Boola Katitjin.
