Join us at our Education postgraduate information session on Thursday 13 October from 7:30 pm to learn how a postgraduate qualification can help you gain a competitive edge.

By attending, you’ll

  • Learn about the Master of Teaching, Master of Education, Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in Education.
  • Understand course structure and entry requirements.
  • Have focused discussions with leading academics in each area. If you hold a Bachelor’s degree in a non-Education field relevant to teaching and are interested in the Master of Teaching you will hear from pre-service teaching specialist Dr Helen Dempsey. If you currently hold a bachelor's degree in education and are looking to upskill with a Grad Cert, Grad Dip or Masters of Education you will hear from teacher development specialist Dr Peter Wright.
  • Learn about the support available to postgraduate students.

What to expect

7:00 – 7:10: Introduction to Education

7:10 – 7:40: Break out into groups for a focused discussion on the Master of Education or Master of Teaching, Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in Education with each specialist.

7:40 – 7:50: Learn about the application process and tips and tricks.

7:50 – 8:00: Questions and close.
