Deciding whether to attend university can be a big step for most high school students and parents often play a key role by providing advice.
Help support your child in their transition from high school to university with our parent power hour series. We’ll explore key topics as well as address some of the barriers in place for First in Family students with our professional staff to provide you with the right tools and information to confidently support your child’s journey into tertiary education.
At this informal presentation, you'll be able to enjoy some pizza while you learn all about Murdoch, hear from a current student and get all your questions answered in our Q&A session.
Event agenda:
5pm – 5.50pm: Information seminar, which will include information about Murdoch, advice for first in family students and a presentation from a current student.
5.50pm – 6.30pm: Enjoy some pizza while you get your questions answered during our Q&A session.
Who should attend?
Parents with children in Years 10, 11 or 12 who will be the first in their family to attend university.

- An overview of Student Support Services and Financial options
