Outdoor movies return to Murdoch University this summer.
Experience the magic of an outdoor cinema at Murdoch University’s Perth campus, thanks to our collaboration with Telethon Community Cinemas.
Telethon Community Cinemas is Perth’s family-friendly, affordable community outdoor cinema, proudly donating all of its profits to charities improving the quality of life of kids in a health or physical ability crisis. More than 700 volunteers run the event each summer and to date over $9 million has been raised.
A secluded grassed area behind Building 122 will once again be transformed into an enchanting outdoor movie theatre from Wednesday 15 November until Saturday 20 April 2024, playing host to a variety of exceptional movies which will appeal to all ages.
With its breathtaking trees and rich green surrounds, Murdoch University is the perfect setting to enjoy movies with family and friends under the stars. Bean bag lounges can be hired in advance and there will be plenty of food and drinks on offer.
Ample free parking is available at the University near the cinema in Car Park 1, just off South Street, and public transport is also available.
