VET642: Practical Applications of Epidemiology

This unit will provide students with the skill required to apply epidemiology to field situations. It will use practical examples to impart knowledge required for the surveillance and monitoring of disease.

Prerequisites

Enrolment in Masters of Veterinary Studies (Veterinary Surveillance), Master of Veterinary Studies (Conservation Medicine) or permission of the Academic Chair.
Completion of, or concurrent enrolment in, VET641 Principles of Epidemiology.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.
