VET624: Surgery 2 (Not available in 2010)

This unit will encourage clinicians to develop their diagnostic and decision-making skills in the area of small animal orthopaedics, enhance skills in critical thinking and information literacy and further develop a problem-oriented clinical approach to case management. Topics include selected joint conditions with a more in-depth review of the clinical skills related to the management of these conditions and fracture decision-making and fracture planning applied within the context of fractures commonly encountered in small animal practice.
