VET345: Veterinary Pharmacology and Chemotherapy

This unit introduces principles of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics followed by the systematic study of veterinary drugs including chemotherapy of bacteria, fungi, and parasites. Principles of rational veterinary therapeutics are emphasised. The unit will be presented using lectures, practical sessions and seminars. Practicals focus on applying pharmacologic principles to veterinary clinical case examples.
