TOU302: Tourism Project
Students undertake independent research based on a supervised project designed with the approval of the Unit Coordinator or Tutor. A format based on the Independent Study Contract form will be used. Group projects are possible. Weekly workshops and online discussion will cover issues such as research design, field work protocol, report writing and publication. They will also provide the opportunity for peer tutoring and staff supervision. Students may undertake this unit in the context of a supervised work experience assignment.
