TLC277: From University to Workplace
Provides theoretical and practical knowledge to enhance students' career development and their transition to the culture of the workplace. As members of the local and global community, students are introduced to how large and small organisations recruit, select and retain personnel. Examine relevant concepts and workplace policies and practices, including significant industry input. The practical component complements the theoretical, develops skills and confidence to enhance employment prospects, and provides strategies for utilising the knowledge and skills gained at university.
