THE100: Life and Literature of Ancient Israel

This unit provides an introduction to the varied literature of the Old Testament. It will give an overview of the contents and major themes of the literature, together with aspects of historical and cultural setting within the Ancient Near East. Throughout the unit, students will be introduced to methods and issues in modern study of the Old Testament, and to available resources.
