STP245: Sustainable Urban Design

Taught intensively during the Easter non-teaching break in Semester 1 by Murdoch staff, urban designers and guest lecturers from local government, other state agencies and the private sector. Aim: to develop a working understanding of the core concepts involved in urban design and how these are applied to develop more sustainable urban places. The learning experience is enriched by the participation of people from government, industry and community organisations who undertake the unit on a non-accredited basis.

Nil.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

Exclusions

Students who have successfully completed R240/STP240/R440 Special Topics in Sustainable Development: Sustainable Urban Design may not enrol in this unit for credit.

External students should note that this unit has a four day on-campus component.
